Johann "Hans" Schlemmer (18 January 1893 – 26 June 1973) was a highly decorated German general in the Wehrmacht during World War II who commanded the LXXV Army Corps. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Schlemmer surrendered to Allied troops in Italy in 1945.
