Cafeteriavirus is a genus of viruses, in the family Mimiviridae. Amoeba serve as natural hosts. There is currently only one species in this genus: the type species Cafeteria roenbergensis virus.[1][2]

Structure
Viruses in Cafeteriavirus have icosahedral and round geometries. The diameter is around 300 nm. Genomes are linear, around 730kb in length. The genome has 544 open reading frames.[1]
