Well some updates on the situation:

1. I've exchanged some SMS with his current lawyer. He refused to talk
via e-mail or the phone on the case, but agree to meet if I'd like to.

2. I found some supporters group from Moscow, who are trying to
organize the help to Dmitry and his family.

3. (unverified yet) Dmitry's family is looking for new lawyers
experienced in the field of IT, networks, privacy etc. (Current ones
are common criminal lawyers some way connected to family.) There is a
meeting scheduled tomorrow between family and Sarkis Darbian (lawyer,
leader of http://digitalrights.center/ and https://rublacklist.net/).
I ask Sarkis to question Dmitry's family from my name on the following
topics:
  * How can one send the supporting mail to Dmitry? (see below)
  * Do they mind against any public notes on the case?
  * Do the defense adheres the position that Dmitry owned Tor's
    exit-node?
  * Who (the family) will organize some fundraising if there will be
foreign supporters would like to participate?

4. Russian organization which helps political prisoners "RosUznik"
added Dmitry to its list. So anyone who want to sent the mail could do
it via the following web-interface:
http://rosuznik.org/
1st field "Кому" (To): Дмитрий Богатов (the last item in the list for
now)
2nd field "От кого" (From)
3d field Your e-mail
4th "Do you like to receive the reply" Да-Yes Нет-No
5th Do you grant your permission to Rosuznik to publish your mail on
their site.

I think, that you could also post your mail to [email protected]
and ask to send it to Dmitry.

They will print the e-mail on the paper and sent it to the prison
officially.
You should know and follow the rules:
* Russian prison rules does not allow letters on foreign languages. You
can use any translate system (even google translate), don't worry if
your letter will be difficult to understand, at least Dmitry will see
  your support.
* All letters will be read by censor, so be polite: no words against the
regime, no jokes about prison break, no special therms censor could
not understand and start to worry etc.

I will stay in touch with Dmitry's supporters and post the news here if
any.
