This is a nice example of why Debian should stay far away from this. We have neither the mandate nor the expertise (as a project) to evaluate and react to situations like this. There are other organizations which do have that mandate and expertise, and if someone feels strongly about this sort of thing it is better to contribute to one of those organizations than to attempt to make Debian into something it is not.
