Season

On 24 June 2011, Massimo Moratti announced that Gian Piero Gasperini will be the new coach:[1] on next week, Leonardo Araújo's contract terminated.[2] After a negative start, the worst since 1921–22, Gasperini was sacked; Inter had lost in Supercoppa and gained just a point in three league games. Coached by Claudio Ranieri, Inter was able to recover winning eight games in row. From January to March, however, it suffered seven losses (between Serie A and Champions League).

The last trainer is Andrea Stramaccioni, who won NextGen Series. Inter finished the year in sixth place, reaching Europa League preliminaries.
