Mu Piscium (Mu Psc, μ Piscium, μ Psc) is a multiple star with three components approximately 360 light years away from Earth, in the constellation Pisces. Its nearest multiple is approximately 5.6 degrees dimmer in apparent magnitude.^[2]

Naming

In Chinese, 外屏 (Wài Píng), meaning Outer Fence, refers to an asterism consisting of refers to an asterism consisting of μ Piscium, δ Piscium, ε Piscium, ζ Piscium, ν Piscium, ξ Piscium and α Piscium. Consequently, μ Piscium itself is known as 外屏四 (Wài Píng sì, English: the Fourth Star of Outer Fence.)^[3]
