HD 197036 is a 7th magnitude star in the constellation Cygnus, approximately 2000 light years away from Earth. It is a bluish white subgiant star of the spectral type B5IV, meaning it possesses a surface temperature of 11,000 to 25,000 kelvins. It is therefore hotter, larger, and brighter than our Sun.[1] It can be found within one degree of the star Deneb.[2]
