Giddalur (Assembly constituency)

Giddaluru is a small town in Eastern end of Prakasam district.It was previously included in kurnool district.

Few places worth visiting include Rangaswamy Gundam,Mahanandi,Narasimhaswamy temple,and more constructions built by Britishers in nallamalla forest.

It is a peaceful town with mixed population of Hindus,Muslims and Christians. Water scarcity is a major issue for the people living here.It has got a decent bus stand and a railway station.Health and education facilities are developing at a rapid pace.
