The 2003–04 TVS Cup was a triangular One Day International cricket tournament, played by India, New Zealand and Australia. The tournament was held in India from 23 October 2003 to 18 November 2003, and consisted of a round robin stage, in which each nation played each of the others three times.[1] The top two teams at the end of the round robin stage then played the final match of the series.

- The team that achieves a run rate of 1.25 times that of the opposition shall be awarded one bonus point. A team's run rate will be calculated by reference to the runs scored in an innings divided by the number of overs faced.
In the event of teams finishing on equal points, the right to play in the final will be determined as follows:
- the team with the most number of wins
- the team with the most number of wins over the other team(s).
- the team with the highest number of bonus points
- the team with the highest net run rate* (NRR explained)
- *in a match declared as no result, run rate is not applicable
