Tuburan, officially the Municipality of Tuburan (Filipino: Bayan ng Tuburan), is a municipality in the province of Basilan in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) of the Philippines. The population was 20,207 at the 2015 census.[2] In the 2016 election, it had 5,287 registered voters.[3]

In 2006, the municipalities of Akbar and Hadji Mohammad Ajul were created from Tuburan,[4][5] reducing its number of barangays from 30 to 10.
