The Torrey Pines Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually in early September at Del Mar Racetrack in Del Mar, California. Offering a purse of $100,000, the Grade III stakes is for three-year-old fillies and is run over a mile on Polytrack synthetic dirt.[1]

The Torrey Pines Stakes was inaugurated in 1976 and was run as a restricted overnight stakes from then to 2004.

It began as an 8 1/2 furlong race but in 1997 was shortened to 8 furlongs (1 mile).

This race was upgraded from ungraded to a Grade III for its 2014 running.[2]
