Theta Canis Majoris (θ CMa, θ Canis Majoris) is a star in the constellation Canis Major.

θ Canis Majoris is an orange K-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +4.08 located approximately 252 light years from Earth. This star is about the same mass as the Sun, but it has 30 times the Sun's radius.and is thought to be around 8 billion years old.[1]
