Nu1 Canis Majoris (ν1 CMa, ν1 Canis Majoris) is a binary star in the constellation Canis Major. It is approximately 277 light years from Earth.

The primary component, ν1 Canis Majoris A, is a yellow G-type giant with an apparent magnitude of +5.71. Its companion, ν1 Canis Majoris B is a yellow-white F-type main sequence star with an apparent magnitude of +7.65. The components are separated by 17.8"[1]
