Tananger Chapel (Norwegian: Tananger kapell) is a historic parish church in Sola municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Tananger. The church is part of the Tananger parish in the Tungenes deanery in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in 1879 by J.H. Nissen, using plans made by Hans Linstow. The church seats about 280 people.[1][2] The church was in use from 1879 until 2002 when the new Tananger Church was completed. Now, the old church (now called "chapel") is used only for very special events and it can be rented for weddings.[3]
