Summer Fusion Open Air

Summer Fusion is an open air, rock & metal concert in Lebanon organized by Rockring.[1]

Summer Fusion returned in 2016 with its fifth installment. Already held four times previously, Summer Fusion 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2015 brought together the Lebanese metal and rock scene for various lineups under one main theme: a full day of beachfront leisure and music.

2008

2008 saw the debut of the Summer Fusion festival; ended early by anti-metal campaigners cutting short the final 2 bands' performances. The original lineup for 2008 were:[2]

2009

In Summer Fusion 2009 there were nine Lebanese bands playing.[3]

2010

Summer Fusion 2010 introduces 10 bands this time. In 2010 Summer Fusion's official website went online, as well as a trailer video for the concert, a first time for a local rock/metal concert. [4]


2015

Summer Fusion 2015 comes back to life with a lineup of 14 bands this time. In 2015, Rockring came back to life with a new website & new mission. [5] [6]

2016

Summer Fusion 2016 was an event headlined by an international band for the first time in its long history. Multiple regular summer fusion veterans performed including Ink 26, Turbulence and Blakyuum.


The event was supposed to also feature scene favorites Bandage who had to cancel their appearance.
