Salleri (सल्लेरी) has been merged in 2014 with the neighbouring VDCs Beni, Garma and Loding Tamakhani to form the municipality of Dudhkunda with a population of 11,247 (2011). It is the headquarters of Solukhumbu District in the Sagarmatha Zone of northern Nepal.[1] At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5368 people living in 1106 individual households.[2]

To Promote local culture Salleri has two Community radio Stations. one is Radio Dudhkoshi - 94.6 MHZ and Solu FM - 102.2 MHz.
