Saint Paul's Orthodox Church

Saint Paul's Orthodox Church is a church in Inchapara, Koodal, in Kerala state, India.

It was built nearly 100 years ago and re-built in 2010. The church is known by the name of St. Paul,who is generally considered as one of the most important of the Apostols. St. Paul taught that Christians are redeemed from the Law and from sin by Jesus' death and resurrection. The church is situated at Inchapara, a place in Koodal village which comes under Pathanamthitta district in Kerala. The place comprises people from all major sorts of religious, cultural and political backgrounds found in the state. One major attraction is "Rakshasanpara", a huge rock mountain, where people from different places come and visit frequently to enjoy the landscape. Two antique built churches, St Paul's Orthodox Church & St Gregorios Orthodox Church, make this place a religious hub to many Christian believers. Both of this churches belong to the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. This Orthodox Church was founded by St. Thomas, one of the disciple of Jesus Christ in AD 52.
