S. V. Krishna Reddy is an Indian film director, actor, producer, screenwriter and music director, predominant in Telugu cinema. Known for directing comedy films, he has directed thirty eight Telugu films and a few Hindi films. He has garnered three Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards and one Filmfare Best Director Award (Telugu).[1][2][3]
He ventured into Hollywood with the 2012 romantic comedy Divorce Invitation, an American adaptation of his 1997 Telugu film Aahvaanam, produced by R. R. Venkat and co-produced by M S P Srinivas Reddy.[4][5]
Early life and film career
Krishna was born in Konkuduru village, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. After his post graduation in Bheemavaram, he moved to Hyderabad to pursue films. [6]
