Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Cassino Calcio 1924 is an Italian association football club from Cassino, Lazio. Currently it plays in Eccellenza.

History

Foundation

The club was founded in 1924 and has played and won Serie D/G in 2005/2006; therefore, Cassino would play 2006/2007 in Serie C2 until 2009–10 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. In July 2010, due to the club did not fulfill the financial requirement, the club was expelled from professional league.[1]

Refoundation

A new company was formed to represent the town as A.S.D. Nuova Cassino 1924. During the summer of 2014 the club redefined its name, simply by removing the prefix "Nuova", that in English means the same as "New, Refounded". In 2013/14 the team finally secured promotion to Eccellenza, the first level of Italian regional league.
