Pranati Rai Prakash is an Indian fashion model best known as the winner of India's Next Top Model 2016 edition. She was also a semi-finalist at Miss India 2015.[1]

Early life

Pranati was born to Colonel Prem Prakash and Sadhana Rai.[2] She hails from Patna in Bihar.[3] Her father is in army. Due to her father's job transfers the family relocated to a number of places in India,[4] including Srinagar, Port Blair, Bathinda, Mhow, Delhi, Thiruvananthapuram, Shillong, Delhi, Dehradun and Patna.[5] She studied fashion communication from NIFT, Mumbai. She loves yoga, painting, designing and travelling. She is currently based in Mumbai.[5]

Modelling career

She has received a lot of recognition because of her stint in the Miss India pageant last year and was a major front runner there.[6] She is Winner of MTV's India's Next Top Model Season 2. She has also been noticed in the Garnier hair colour, Amway Be Bright cream and Himalaya face wash. She's done fashion shows including Lakmé Fashion Week and India Bridal Fashion Week.
