Partido pa Adelanto I Inovashon Soshal (PAIS) is a political party in Curaçao. As of 2016 it holds no seats in the Estates of Curaçao.
History
The party participated in the Curaçao general election of 2010, where it obtained 3% of the vote, which was not enough for a seat in the 21 seats' Island council of Curaçao, which became the Estates of Curaçao upon the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles in 2010.[1]
PAIS entered the Estates of Curaçao in 2012 with 4 seats.[2]
During the 2016 general election the PAIS did not manage to obtain any seats. Party leader Alex Rosaria resigned early October. The party started a period of contemplation.[3][4]
