McKinley Hill Stadium is an all-weather football pitch in the Philippines made of artificial turf. Developed by real estate developer Megaworld Corporation and constructed by All Asia Structures, Inc., it sits on a 15,000 square meter land in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. The stadium has a seating capacity of 2,000[1] and is home to the United Football League (UFL). The Philippine Rugby Football Union signed a memorandum of agreement with Megaworld stating that the venue will be used as the official training ground of the national rugby teams.[4]

The stadium was formerly named Emperador Stadium, after its sponsor Emperador Distillers Incorporated, a liquor making company, and a sister company of Megaworld. Its name was changed to McKinley Hill Stadium in mid-2015.[4]

Sports Events

Even before the completion of the McKinley Hill Stadium, the UFL signed a deal with Megaworld in 2011 that will give the league priority on the field usage for the next four years.[5] The stadium was unveiled in February 7, 2013 by Megaworld. The league had its first game at the stadium on February 9, 2013, a Division One match between Manila Nomads and Philippine Air Force, with Nomads winning the match, 1–0. A doubleheader was supposed to mark the stadium's debut but the match in Division Two between Cebu Queen City United FC and Dolphins United FC got cancelled due to the forfeiture of Cebu Queen City United FC.[6]
