List of wind farms in the United States

This is a list of large wind farms in the United States. To be included in this list, the farm must have a generating capacity of at least 170 megawatts (MW), or must be one of the three largest farms in its state and have a generating capacity of at least 120 MW. While there are currently no offshore wind farms in the United States, the 30 MW Block Island Wind Farm (southeast of Block Island, Rhode Island) is under construction and expected to open in late 2016.[1]
