Kamavarapukota is a village in West Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1]

Geography

Kamavarapukota lies on the Eluru-Jangareddygudem road in hilly terrain. The Kamavaraukota community includes three villages, Kotturu, Kamavarapukota, and Pathuru. Eluru and Jangareddigudem are nearby Cities.

Demographics

In 2001, Kamavarapukota had 16790 inhabitants residing in 4575 households. Men numbered 8533 and women 8257. There were 1816 children under 6 years of age with sex ratio 932. Literacy rate of Kamavarapukota village was 72.25%.[2] With respect to registered voters, Kamavarapukota is the eight largest Panchayath in Andhra Pradesh.
