Károly Vass

The native form of this personal name is Vass Károly. This article uses the Western name order.

Károly Vass (born June 14, 1944 in Šahy)[1] is a former Hungarian handball player who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics and in the 1976 Summer Olympics.

In 1972 he was part of the Hungarian team which finished eighth in the Olympic tournament. He played all six matches and scored eleven goals.[2] Four years later he finished sixth with the Hungarian team in the 1976 Olympic tournament. He played all five matches and scored 18 goals.[3]

He participated on two World Championships in 1974 and 1982, achieving a seventh and a ninth place, respectively.[4]
