The International Academy of Design & Technology – Detroit is a design and technology based institution. The school traces its history to 1977, when Clem Stein, Jr., founded the International Academy of Merchandising and Design, Ltd. The IADT campus opened in 2003 and is located in Troy, Michigan. The campus is a branch campus of the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago, Illinois.

IADT – Detroit offers Bachelor of Fine Arts Degrees in the following:

Associate of Fine Arts Degree Program(s) at IADT – Detroit include Fashion Design.

Admissions

Admission into IADT – Detroit requires a personal interview, enrollment agreement and attestation of graduation from high school or equivalency. Full admission requirements can be obtained by contacting an admissions representative.

Campus

The IADT - Detroit campus occupies over 44,000 square feet (4,100 m2) and includes classrooms, computer labs, studios, student resource areas, a library and admissions, academic and administrative offices. Unfortunately due to downsizing by the CEC the Detroit branch of IADT will be closing its doors for good in 2017. Students who are already enrolled have been placed on an even more accelerated 5 week term( the former was 10 weeks).
