Hulata (Hebrew: חוּלָתָה) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the Hula Valley, it falls under the jurisdiction of Upper Galilee Regional Council. In 2015 it had a population of 590.
History
The kibbutz was established in 1937 as a fishing village by a gar'in of Makhnot HaOlim youth group members. It was named for its location in the Hula Valley. After the draining of the Hula swamps, the residents began working in agriculture.
