Fortune Smiles is a 2015 collection of short stories by American author and novelist Adam Johnson.[1][2] It is Johnson's second published collection, after his 2002 book Emporium. The collection includes six stories, several of which have won awards. The New York Times highlighted the title story and another story, Nirvana, as the two best in the book.

The collection won the National Book Award for Fiction in 2015.
