Faculty of Management Studies, Udaipur, or FMS Udaipur, was founded in 1982.FMS Udaipur is NAAC Accredited College 'A' Grade. FMS Udaipur has been ranked among the top three business schools in Rajasthan. FMS Udaipur comes under the aegis of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur. The faculty was started at the campus of CCMS (Commerce College, MLSU, but now it has its campus with a library and other infrastructure. It is one of the oldest business schools in Rajasthan and has a strong alumni network.
Courses
The school offers marketing and finance programmes. It is situated on the campus of the MLSU. The programmes offered by FMS are:
- MBA (Full Time) - The intake of the programme for 2014 is 60.
- MBA-Financial Service Management (Full Time) - The programme, started in 2005, has 51+9 seats.
- Master in Tourism Management (Full Time) - The programme has 30+3 seats.
- Doctoral Programmes which lead to a Ph.D. by MLSU
Admissions
Students are selected on the basis of CMAT which is conducted for taking admission in Management Institutions. CMAT is conducted twice in a year by AICTE. Admission is conducted in September thru February every year.
