Employsure is an Australian-based company that provides workplace relations support to employers and business owners in Australia and New Zealand.

Employsure won “Australia's Growth Company of the Year” for 2015.[1][2]

History

Employsure was founded in 2010 by barrister Edward Mallett following the change in Australian employment legislation due to the introduction of the Fair Work Act 2009[3] and it is now the largest in its sector with over 10,500 clients in Australia and 400 employees[4][5] being one of the fastest growing companies in the country.[6]

In April 2012, Peninsula Business Services Limited invested £1.7 million (AUD $2.94 million) in the company.[7][8]

In October 2015, Employsure was awarded Australia’s fastest growing company at the Deloitte Growth Company of the Year awards.[1]

The company today

In 2016, the company expanded its operations in Australia and in New Zealand by opening offices in Perth and Auckland. Employsure employs over 400 staff to support more than 10,000 clients across Australia and New Zealand.[5]

In August 2016, the company ranked #13 in the 2016 Financial Review Most Innovative companies list.[9] The same month Employsure was named 21st Best Places to Work in Australia by Great Places to Work.[10][11]

In September 2016, Ed Mallett continues as Managing Director and was on the final list of the Australian HR Champion (CEO) Of The Year 2016,[12] organised by HR AWARDS. The company was named Business Services Growth Company Of The Year on the 27th October 2016. [13]
