County routes in Niagara County, New York, are not signed and there is no apparent numbering pattern. Most of the county routes act as primary roads in the less developed areas and also serve to interconnect the various villages and hamlets of Niagara County. Niagara County maintains few county routes, including only the most important connecting thoroughfares, and those are maintained by the Niagara County highway department. Most of the roads in the county, including many of the local through highways, are maintained by the towns. Routes 126 through 143 are listed below.

Route 126 begins as the continuation of CR 36 (Youngstown–Wilson Road) at the village line and heads east–northeast for only a short distance of 0.32 miles. There it ends at an intersection with NY 425 (Lake Street) and CR 52 (Young Street). Young Street continues east as CR 52.

County Route 127 is a fairly short north–south route located in the northwestern part of the town of Lockport. CR 127 is named Johnson Road and starts at CR 19 (Stone Road) and heads north for only nine-tenths of a mile where it ends at NY 104 (Ridge Road).

County Route 129

County Route 129

County Route 129 is a north–south route in the town of Niagara named Walmore Road. CR 129 starts at a six-way intersection with US 62 (Niagara Falls Boulevard), CR 25 (Niagara Road), Cayuga Drive, and Walmore Road. From there, CR 129 heads north, passing east of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station and Niagara Falls International Airport. The air reserve station is home to the Air Force Reserve Command's 914th Airlift Wing (914 AW) and the New York Air National Guard's 107th Air Refueling Wing (107 ARW). At 1.54 miles, Route 129 reaches its northern end at busy east–west Lockport Road (CR 6).

Walmore Road itself continues at a point 0.2 miles (0.32 km) to the west, heading north towards NY 31 and the Tuscarora Indian Reservation.

County Route 130

County Route 130

County Route 130 is a north–south county route named East Canal Road in the town of Pendleton. Route 130 starts at the Erie County line as the northern continuation of CR 186 (New Road). Just after its start, CR 130 has a five-way intersection with CR 60 (Tonawanda Creek Road North) and Washington Street in the hamlet of Pendleton. From here the road heads northerly, and starts to parallel the Erie Canal, which lies on the west side of CR 130 for the rest of its routing. Fisk Road is intersected at 2.05 miles and also allows access over the canal to Fiegle (CR 121) and Bear Ridge (CR 96) roads. East Canal Road and CR 130 end at CR 123 (Robinson Road).

County Route 131

County Route 131, named Carmen Road, is a north–south route located in the towns of Hartland and Somerset in northeastern Niagara County. CR 131 begins at the RoyaltonHartland town line, northwest of Middleport, and from there heads due north through eastern Hartland. NY 104 (Ridge Road) is intersected at just over 2 miles. The Hartland—Somerset town line is reached at the intersection of CR 135 (Townline Road) at 6.03 miles. Thereafter, CR 131 now heads north through Somerset to a junction with NY 18 (Lake Road and the Seaway Trail)m where the county route designation ends. Carmen Road itself continues north towards the south shore of Lake Ontario, providing access to Golden Hill State Park.

County Route 133

County Route 133

County Route 133 was the designation assigned to Dysinger Road in the towns of Lockport and Royalton. The route began at the intersection of CR 14 (Beattie Avenue) and CR 123 (Robinson Road) in the town of Lockport and headed due east through central southeastern Lockport toward the Lockport–Royalton town line. Just entering the town of Royalton, the road curved slightly northeastward before ending at a junction with Akron Road (NY 93 and NY 954M) in Royalton.[3][5]

The Lockport Bypass, a highway bypassing the downtown district of the city of Lockport to the southwest, was opened to traffic in 1991. The section of NY 93 in Lockport was rerouted to follow the road south from NY 31 to Robinson Road,[6] where the route turned east onto Robinson and Dysinger roads to reconnect to its previous alignment in Royalton. NY 93 originally overlapped with CR 133;[3][5] however, the CR 133 designation was eliminated in 1998 when ownership and maintenance of this section of NY 93 was transferred to the state of New York.[4]

The route begins at the intersection of Main and Jackson streets, where NY 18F leaves Main Street (also county-maintained as CR 907) and turns east onto Jackson Street. NY 18F and CR 138 continue east to the Youngstown village line, where CR 138 terminates[7] and NY 18F continues out of the village as a town-maintained road.[8]

County Route 142 is an east–west county route in the towns of Lockport and Royalton. The route follows Akron Road from the Lockport city line southeast to a junction with NY 93 in Royalton. CR 142 was part of NY 93 from the 1930 renumbering of state highways in New York to July 26, 1991,[6][9] and designated NY 954M (an unsigned reference route) from July 26, 1991, to October 1, 1998, when ownership and maintenance of the road was transferred to Niagara County.[4][10]

County Route 143 is the designation for a county-maintained section of NY 31E in the town of Royalton between NY 271 in Middleport and the Orleans County line.[7] Ownership and maintenance of this section of NY 31E was transferred from the state of New York to Niagara County on October 1, 1998.[4]
