Canadian Centre for Energy Information

The Canadian Centre for Energy Information (CCEI) is a non-profit organization created by the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) in 2002 to create a voice for the Canadian oil and gas industry on all aspects of the Canadian energy system from oil, natural gas, coal, geo-thermal, and hydroelectric power through to nuclear, solar, wind, and other sources of energy, with a focus on hydrocarbon energy sources.

Developed and funded by the oil and gas industry for Canadian audiences, the Centre for Energy provides access to industry-funded information on the Canadian energy system through its print publications and web portal. Currently the Centre for Energy website provides visitors with an overview of Canada’s energy sources, maps of energy use and production, classroom tools, current industry news, and live feeds of petroleum prices on major world markets. It also contains a large database of links to industry partners and related associations.
