Brighton, Missouri

Brighton is an unincorporated community in southern Polk County, Missouri, United States. It is located at the intersection of Route 13 and Route 215 about fifteen miles north of Springfield. It was named after Brighton, Tennessee.[1]

Brighton is part of the Springfield Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Brighton, Missouri is revealed to be the boyhood home of Sergeant Matthew Baker, the fictional protagionist in the 2007 Ubisoft Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3 game, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway.

It and its pumpkin watertower are also referenced in the Ryan Reynolds movie Self/Less
