Pageantry

Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016

Jiménez competed in Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016 on 12 November 2015, representing the municipality of Aguadilla, where she finished as 1st Runner-Up to Kristhielee Caride of Isabela. Four months later, on 17 March 2016, the Miss Universe Puerto Rico organization announced that Caride had been stripped of her title after failing to fulfill her obligations and, as 1st Runner-Up, Jiménez would take over the responsibilities as the new Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2016. Many pageant fans feel she is unworthy of the crown because she didn't win the night of the pageant.

Miss Universe 2016

Jiménez will now represent Puerto Rico at Miss Universe 2016 where she will compete to succeed the current titleholder, Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines.
