Ash Kalra is an American politician elected to the California State Assembly. He is a Democrat who will represent the 27th Assembly District, encompassing parts of eastern San Jose. He was elected to the Assembly after defeating fellow Democrat Madison Nguyen in 2016.
Prior to being elected to the Assembly, he was a member of the San Jose City Council.
