On November 24, 2009, the music video for "Apple of Sodom" was released, 11 years after it was originally created. It was directed by Joseph Cultice and shot in 1998, in New York City and Los Angeles. The video mixes the gritty darkness of the Antichrist Superstar era with the glam of the upcoming Mechanical Animals era and seems to have been intended as a transition between the two albums. It was eventually shelved due to its nudity and low budget quality, especially in comparison to "The Dope Show", which would be released the same year.

"I did it myself with Manson, never got much of a release, partly because of the tits, and it was so low budget."
Joseph Cultice
