Adalberto López

Adalberto López (4 July 1923 - December 1996) was a Mexican footballer who most played the forward or striker position.

Career

Born in Cocula, Jalisco, "El Dumbo" López played club football for Club León and Chivas de Guadalajara, scoring a record 196 Mexican Primera División goals.[1]

He was elected to the Mexican American Hall of Fame in 1988.[2]

He died in Los Angeles in December 1996.[3]
