The Cincinnati Reds' 2009 season was a season in American baseball. It involved the Cincinnati Reds attempting to win the NL Central after finishing fifth in the division the previous year.[1] For the second year, the Reds were managed by Dusty Baker.[1][2] The Reds played their seventh season of home games in Great American Ball Park. The Reds finished the 2009 season 78-84, only four wins more than the 2008 season.
