Đại Lộc ( listen) is a rural district (huyện) of Quảng Nam Province in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 158,052.[1] The district covers an area of 586 km². The district capital lies at Ái Nghĩa.[1] Dai Loc has 17 communes and a capital town Ái Nghĩa

The communes are Đại Đồng, Đại Hiệp, Đại Nghĩa, Đại An, Đại Quang, Đại Lãnh, Đại Hưng, Đại Minh, Đại Cường, Đại Thạnh, Đại Thắng, Đại Phong, Đại Hồng, Đại Hòa, Đại Chánh, Đại Tân, and Đại Sơn. Dai Loc District is 25 km southwest of Da Nang City center, 70 km north of Tam Ky City, and on the way of the East West Economic Corridor through Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. It borders the districts of Dien Ban, Duy Xuyen, Que Son, Nam Giang, and Dong Giang. Dai Loc District can be considered the main rice field of Quang Nam Province. In addition, it is famous for numerous craft products, such as rice pancake, drum, silk, incense stick, etc. Besides, Dai Loc District has become an attractive venue for investors with 18 small and medium industrial groups and 36 projects in operation. The district is a peaceful picture of beautiful springs, traditional craft villages, local festivals and the great sense of humor of local residents.

Tourism

At the base of Ba Na Mountain, just about 30 km west of Da Nang city, tourists can discover Suoi Mo, another one in many well-worth Da Nang attractions The path goes along the river, and tourists will find a few slippery, narrow dirt paths branching out on the left towards the water, giving access to the larger swimming areas. With so much shade, it is a beautiful spot; and whilst it could get a little crowded, it still is a great site for a refreshing dip. While climbing here, you will notice that there are a lot of signs painted on the rocks (of course, in Vietnamese) that warn you where you should not dare to climb. The Dream Spring impresses you by the majestic Gieo waterfall which is compared with the white ribbon in the green forest. This is the reason why people named this stream Dream Spring. The most striking feature is the harmony of stream and cliffs in nature. Coming here, you can take the great pleasure of swimming in the cool water. The banks of streams, cliffs, along with the plants they oil colau year makes a natural wall, keep Suoi Mo pure space, isolated, feeling the heat, the dust, the noisy life cannot reach. This can be regarded as an ideal holiday spot of the midland area of Dai Loc District and Quang Nam Province.
