Slayer master
Slayer Masters are NPCs who serve as guides to the Slayer skill & assign tasks to players requiring them to kill specific monsters a certain number of times. Each Slayer Master has a different combat level requirement for players to be assigned tasks from them. Slayer Masters with higher combat level requirements will generally assign longer tasks with more difficult monsters. Players receive Slayer reward points upon completing tasks with bonus points being awarded at regular intervals (except for tasks from Turael and Spria). These points can be redeemed for a variety of different rewards, unlocks, & upgrades which enhance a player's Slayer experience.
All slayer masters sell items which are helpful & sometimes essential to specific slayer tasks. There is a separate article for the Slayer Equipment.

Turael[edit | edit source]
Turael gives the easiest slayer tasks and is ideal for lower level players. They have no minimum combat or Slayer level requirements before players may receive assignments.
If a player of any level receives an assignment they do not wish to do, Turael may consider giving players an easier assignment if they talk to him effectively "skipping" the hardest assignment. However, this only works if the assignment is something that he doesn't assign. For example, if Chaeldar assigns a player Desert Lizards, then the Burthorpe slayer master cannot change their task, as he too assigns Desert Lizards. However, if the number given is far greater than Turael would normally give, it is possible to change your task. For example, if Duradel assigns 140+ Kalphite, then Turael will change this, as he would not assign that many to kill. In this case, Turael will give a new assignment, which could be a new creature to slay or fewer of the same creature. Note that it is impossible for a player to get Turael to reassign a task that he gave out.
He is located in a small house south of the general store in Burthorpe. The fastest ways to reach him are to use:
- A Games necklace to the Burthorpe Games Room, down the stairs and run east.
- A Combat bracelet to teleport to the Warriors' Guild and run east.
Slayer points[edit | edit source]
Completion of a task assigned by Turael will not grant any slayer points. As well, if it was a task replacing one from another master your task streak will be reset. So, if you're on the 48th task and take a replacement one from Turael, your completed tasks will be set to 0.
Spria[edit | edit source]
Spria is Turael's daughter, and has the same task list as him. She plays a role in the quest A Porcine of Interest.
She is located in a small house in Draynor Village. The fastest ways to reach her are to use:
- An amulet of glory to Draynor Village.
- An explorer's ring to teleport to the Falador cabbage patch and run southeast.
- A necklace of passage to the Wizards' Tower and run north.
- Lumbridge Teleport and run west.
Slayer points[edit | edit source]
Completion of a task assigned by Spria will not grant any slayer points.
Krystilia[edit | edit source]
Krystilia's tasks come with a risk: tasks assigned by her must be done within the Wilderness. She has no minimum combat or Slayer level requirements, and doesn't factor in the player's combat level, meaning she may give players tasks much harder than their combat level would otherwise indicate.
While completing Krystilia's tasks, players may obtain Larran's keys, the drop rate of which is dependent on the monster's combat level. They can be used to open a small or big chest for additional rewards.
Assignments from her have a separate task completion counter than assignments from other slayer masters, so players will have to complete five of her slayer assignments to begin earning slayer reward points. If the player chooses to reset an assignment Krystilia gives before the five assignments are completed, the counter will reset to zero and the player will need to complete five more tasks before they will receive reward points.
She can be found by the jailhouse in Edgeville, north-east of the bank. The fastest ways to reach her are to use:
- An Amulet of Glory teleport to Edgeville.
- The Fairy ring code DKR, and run west over the river.
- The Paddewwa Teleport from the Ancient Spellbook, then exit the dungeon and run north.
- One of the canoe spots on the River Lum.
Slayer points[edit | edit source]
Completion of a task assigned by Krystilia grants:
- 25 points per task
- 125 for every 10th
- 375 for every 50th
- 625 for every 100th
- 875 for every 250th
- 1,250 for every 1,000th
Mazchna[edit | edit source]
Mazchna is the second easiest Slayer Master. The minimum combat level requirement to be assigned tasks from him is 20.
Mazchna is located northeast of Canifis. The fastest ways to reach him are to use:
- The Kharyrll teleport from the Ancient Spellbook.
- The Fairy ring code CKS, arriving west of Canifis.
- An Ectophial to arrive at the Ectofuntus, and run west.
- The charter ship to Port Phasmatys, and run west.
Slayer points[edit | edit source]
Completion of a task assigned by Mazchna grants:
- 2 slayer points per normal task
- 5 for every 10th
- 15 for every 50th
- 50 for every 100th
- 70 for every 250th
- 100 for every 1,000th
Vannaka[edit | edit source]
Vannaka is a mid-level Slayer Master. The minimum combat level requirement to be assigned tasks from Vannaka is 40.
He is located in the Edgeville Dungeon, east of the Wilderness gate. The fastest ways to reach him are to use:
- An Amulet of glory teleport to Edgeville, north of the dungeon entrance.
- Fairy ring code DKR, arriving east of Edgeville.
- Using the Paddewwa Teleport, teleporting you inside of the dungeon.

Chaeldar[edit | edit source]
Chaeldar is a mid-level Slayer Master. To be assigned monsters from her, you must have completed Lost City and have a minimum combat level of 70.
She is located in Zanaris by the Fairy Queen's Throne. The only ways to reach her are to use any fairy ring to go to Zanaris, or entering the shed in the Lumbridge Swamp whilst wielding a Dramen staff or Lunar staff.
Slayer points[edit | edit source]
Completion of a task assigned by Chaeldar grants:
- 10 slayer points per normal task
- 50 for every 10th
- 150 for every 50th
- 250 points per 100th task
- 350 points per 250th task
- 500 points per 1,000th task
Konar quo Maten[edit | edit source]
Konar quo Maten is the third hardest Slayer Master. To receive Slayer tasks from her, a combat level of 75 is required.
Konar is unique amongst the primary slayer masters in the fact that in addition to assigning a monster, she will also assign one of multiple locations (if the monster can be found in other places). She will never direct players into the Wilderness, unless it is part of boss slayer as Krystilia does this.
While completing Konar's tasks, players may obtain a brimstone key, which are obtained and have drop rates similar to Larran's keys. They are used to open the brimstone chest near her for additional rewards.
She is located on the summit of Mount Karuulm. The fastest ways to reach the summit are to use:
- Rada's blessing 3 or 4 to teleport to Mount Karuulm.
- Fairy ring code CIR, arriving south of Mount Karuulm.
- A skills necklace or Farming cape to teleport to the Farming Guild and run north-east.

- 900 (1,000)[1] points per 1,000th task
Nieve/Steve[edit | edit source]
Nieve is the second hardest Slayer Master. The minimum combat level requirement to be assigned tasks from Nieve is 85. After the events of Monkey Madness II, Steve replaces Nieve as the slayer master.
She is located in the Tree Gnome Stronghold, near the yew trees and the southern bank. The fastest ways to reach her are to use:
- A Slayer ring teleport to the Stronghold Slayer Cave.
- A charged Necklace of passage to Joral's Outpost, then run north.
- The Balloon Transport System to the Grand Tree.
- A Spirit tree to the Tree Gnome Stronghold and run south-west.

- 420 (525)[1] for every 250th
- 600 (750)[1] for every 1,000th
Duradel[edit | edit source]
Duradel is the hardest Slayer Master. To be assigned tasks from Duradel, players must have a Slayer level of at least 50, and a combat level of at least 100. Also, to be able to enter Shilo Village, where Duradel resides, players must have completed the Shilo Village quest.
He is located on the platform bridging the river at the fishing shop in Shilo Village. Although Duradel is usually north of the river (or sometimes on the bridge), he cannot be accessed from north of the river. Instead, enter the fishing shop south of the river, climb the ladder there, and cross the bridge to get to him.
The fastest ways to reach Shilo Village are to use:
- Karamja gloves 4 to teleport directly to Duradel.
- Karamja gloves 3 to teleport to the Shilo Village mine.
- The Shilo Village cart system to Shilo Village from the north end of Brimhaven.
- Fairy ring code CKR, arriving west of Shilo Village.

Notes[edit | edit source]
- Duradel is the only Slayer Master with a Slayer level requirement, all other masters can be utilized at Level 1 Slayer provided that the player has the appropriate Combat Level and meets any other requirements.
- Players can use the Lunar spell NPC Contact to receive a new task or updates on their current task from any Slayer Master, this is considered the most efficient way of receiving tasks as it does not require the player to travel to the appropriate NPC.
