Opis:
Drogi trojga ludzi, których z pozoru nic nie łączy, splatają się pewnego dnia w jednym miejscu. Nigeryjczyk Godwill (Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine) nielegalnie przekracza granice Istambułu, aby odnaleźć kobietę, którą kocha. Taksówkarz Metin (Ali Atay) przyjeżdża z wioski do miasta, by zacząć lepsze życie. Sevda (Deniz Çakir), niezadowolona ze swojej pracy pielęgniarka, przybywa do Istambułu, wierząc, że czeka ją tu szczęście. Plot Summary:
Three people with almost nothing in common are brought together by fate and a desire to change their lives in this fusion of action, comedy and drama from director Emre Sahin. Godwill (Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine) is a man from Nigeria who has entered Istanbul illegally in hopes of finding the woman he loves. Metin (Ali Atay) is a small time crook turned cab driver who has come to the city from a small village in the West eager to make a better life. And Sevda (Deniz Çakir) is a nurse who is unhappy with her career and sees a numerologist in hopes of changing her luck. When a bag with a small fortune is cash is lost, the mad scramble to find it causes Godwill, Metin and Sevda to cross paths, and each is interested in getting their hands on the money and starting over again. 40 was an official selection at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival.
