"We Ride" to piosenka R&B stworzona przez: Rihanna, M. Riddick, T. Hermansen, M. Eriksen na drugi, studyjny album Rihanny, "A Girl Like Me" (2006). Utwór został wyprodukowany przez Stargate i potwierdzony jako trzeci singel z krążka w wywiadzie dla MTV. W Stanach Zjednoczonych singel nie odniósł sukcesu nie zajmując pozycji w Billboard Hot 100. Piosenka również nie zajęła pozycji w Kanadzie. Lepiej utwór poradził sobie w reszcie świata zajmując pozycje w Top 20 na brytyjskiej liście przebojów i w Top 10 na nowozelandzkim notowaniu. Ponieważ "We Ride" nie odniósł pożądanego sukcesu w Ameryce Północnej producenci i menadżerowie artystki zdecydowali się wydać jako czwarty singel z albumu "A Girl Like Me" (2006) utwór "Break It Off" wykonany w duecie z Seanem Paulem.

In the U.S. "We Ride" failed to enter the Hot 100, but performed somewhat stronger elsewhere. It also did not enter the Canadian Singles Chart, but reached the UK Singles Chart top twenty and New Zealand Singles Chart top ten. Because of its relative underperformance, the single "Break It Off" (2006, featuring Sean Paul) began receiving airplay earlier than expected.
