Marco Passarani pochodzi z Włoch. Na początku lat 90tych współpracował z rzymskimi rozgłośniami radiowymi oraz występował jako dj i live act. Swoja pierwszą produkcję wydał pod koniec 1993 roku w wytwórni "Generator" z Detroit. Przez ponad dekadę zajmował się organizacją imprez we Włoszech. Jest właścicielem firmy zajmującej się dystrybucją płyt "Final Frontier" oraz labeli takich jak "Nature", "Pigna", "Plasmek". Swoje nagrania wydaje również w takich wytwórniach jak "Skam", "Clone", "Hyman". Początkowo wpływ na jego muzykę wywarła twórczość Underground Resistance, z czasem jego muzyka ewoluowała, wskutek czego możemy usłyszeć w niej wpłyty electro, hip-hopu, funku, industrialu. Album "Sullen Look" jest wynikiem inspiracji różnymi gatunkami, ale mimo że muzycznie jest zróznicowany to tworzy spójną całość. Muzyka jaka na nim się znajduje jest dobra do posłuchania w domu jak i na imprezie. Jeżeli miałbym określić styl tego albumu, to myślę że najbliżej mu do electro i house.

"Marco Passarani's musical journey began in the early nineties when he was involved in the burgeoning Roman techno radio scene. Around this time, he began participating in many warehouse parties and events performing both live and as a DJ. From these humble beginnings, Marco has steadily built a successful career as a pioneer and torch-bearer for the Italian electronic dance music scene, being recognised and respected as such both at home and internationally. Marco has always taken a very central, varied approach to music. Not only has he released an abundance of well-regarded singles and remixes on a host of international imprints, he has also established and run the labels Nature, Plasmek and Pigna, acting more as the producer behind such bands as Jolly Music, J's Pool, Monomorph and Ambit 3.
