  "name": "#4131 Saint Jerome",
  "description": "Born around 342 AD, Jerome was named Eusebius Sophronius Heironymus. He grew up loving books and history and, at 12, traveled to Rome to learn. He was a grammarian, in philosophy and rhetoric, but was also a lover of pleasure until he fell sick. After a life of prayer and penance, he was ordained a priest of Antioch. He died a peaceful death, and his feast day is September 30th. He is the patron saint of librarians, archeologists, and Bible scholars.",
