Po nieudanej misji specjalnej Alexander (Steven Seagal) zostaje przeniesiony w stan spoczynku. Próbując jakoś ułożyć sobie życie, zatrudnia się jako złota rączka w kompleksie miejskich apartamentowców. Gdy jedna z mieszkanek zostaje porwana przez gangsterów, Alexander decyduje się pospieszyć z ratunkiem. Nieoczekiwanie wplątuje się w środek mafijnej wojny między Rosjanami a Chińczykami. Musi stawić czoła dawnemu śmiertelnemu wrogowi i tym razem wyeliminować go raz na zawsze.
