Opis:
Iron Brigade to nietypowa strzelanka wzbogacono defensywnymi elementami strategicznymi przypominającymi gatunek tower defense. Jest to produkcja zespołu Double Fine, znanego z tytułów takich jak Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, Costume Quest czy Stacking.
Gracze wcielają się w członków oddziału Mobile Trench Brigade i ich zadaniem jest powstrzymanie armii złego Monovision. Rozgrywka stanowi mieszankę strzelanki oraz gatunku tower defense. Na każdym poziomie naszym celem jest odparcie kolejnych nadciągających fal przeciwników. Kamera ukazuje akcję zza pleców naszej postaci, którą kontrolujemy jak w typowych strzelankach. Dodatkowo możemy pomagać sobie, wznosząc różnorodne struktury obronne. Najważniejszym elementem naszego arsenału jest potężny mech, którego możemy skonfigurować na tysiące sposobów. Maszyna ta w razie potrzeby potrafi wbić się w ziemię, tworząc tym samym w pełni funkcjonalny okop, idealny do odparcia nacierających sił wroga.
