Ciekawe doświadczenie – zespół Inflexible zaskoczył mnie i to całkiem pozytywnie. Bo oto okazuje się, że w zalewie hardcore’owych produkcji, które w gruncie rzeczy nie różnią się często od siebie prawie wcale, można stworzyć coś ciekawego. Inflexible specjalizuje się w zwartym, niezwykle powolnym hate-corze. Nie wiem, czy taka etykietka spodoba się zespołowi, ale nadałem ją z konkretnego powodu. W utworach łodzian jest bowiem tak potężna dawka złości, jakiejś negatywnej energii, że wysłuchanie całej płytki, mimo iż trwa zaledwie 24 minuty, to prawdziwie ciężkie doświadczenie. Tak ciężkie, jak muzyka. Składają się na nią walcowate, nabrzmiałe thrashowym ołowiem gitarowe riffy i wściekły wrzask wokalisty. Całość jest dobrze (wręcz sterylnie) wyprodukowana i to właśnie dodaje muzyce dodatkowego kopa. Mimo, iż nagromadziło się w tej recenzji mnóstwo słów o negatywnym zabarwieniu nie zmienia to faktu, że płyty słucha się znakomicie. Myślę, że od czasu do czasu taka dawka skondensowanej siły może być całkiem oczyszczająca. Tym bardziej, że taka forma przekazu staje się po prostu archaiczna w świecie sztucznych brzmień i coraz łagodniejszej muzyczki. "Born to hate" jest wyzwaniem rzuconym muzycznemu mainstreamowi, wyzwaniem które nie będzie przyjęte, ale uświadomi, że młoda gwardia nie zamierza się poddać. Najlepszym kawałkiem jest numer tytułowy, który przejechał po mnie jak walec i nie zostawił wątpliwości w kogo nienawiść zostanie wymierzona. Kurczę, nie wiem dlaczego, ale lubię sobie dość często tej płyty posłuchać...

INFLEXIBLE was born in our minds during the summer of 1995. The end of this year brought the first complete line-up and first rehearsals. Since the beginning we directed to very heavy hardcore-edgemetal, our first songs were quite slow, full of heaviness and radical lyrics. More than a year of our work was archieved in our first official tape "Progress by hatred" released by Youth Culture in July 1997. This was the turning point of our history - we became one of the most active independent bands here, we played a lot of shows and gained more experience through the systematic work. Dynamic progress of our music skills was gained by the reconstruction of the line-up in the spring '98. Since then INFLEXIBLE are: Sebastian (drums), Piotr (guitar), Piotr "Carlos - CxC" (voice) and Maciej (bass). This fact caused the great evaluation of our songs and a complete new stuff, which was partially performed on the famous Vort'N'Vis hardcore festival in Ieper (Belgium). It's worth to mention, we're the first hardcore band from Eastern Europe, who played there. In the February'99 in PJ Studio in Lodz, we recorded our debut cd called "Born to hate". Now you've got it in your hands and you can easily check what we represent. INFLEXIBLE members were the creators of B.D.H.Crew (actually also known as 248 Crew). This is group of people from central Poland, who wanted to rebuild hardcore & straight edge scene in our great area. We always do our best to spread the independent hardcore message, always say what we think, always show the mistakes and stupid actions of another people - some say we're very controversial, but we won't change ourselves and we won't be a 'friend' to everyone. You're doin' shit, you'll pay for it! We're strongly connected to another BDHCrew band KNOCKDOWN - three members of INFLEXIBLE are in their line-up, that's why! We also edited a hardcore magazine "Upright" and we're makin' a lot of shows in our area
