Opis:
Rory wraz z matką Lorelai mieszkają w małym miasteczku Stars Hollow. Obie są sobie bardzo bliskie, nie tylko jako rodzina, ale również jako przyjaciółki. Rory uczy się w pobliskiej szkole w Chilton, jej matka natomiast prowadzi hotel Independence Inn. Razem przeżywają problemy szkolne i sercowe Rory, a także konflikty Lorelai z rodzicami.
