Opis:
Titan Quest to oryginalne połączenie akcji i elementów fabularnych, sygnowane nazwiskiem Briana Sullivana, współtwórcy m.in. Age of Empires, stojącego na czele Iron Lore Entertainment, czyli developera gry. Akcja przenosi nas w czasy starożytnej Grecji i Egiptu, kiedy to tytułowi Tytani uciekli ze swego wieczystego więzienia aby siać spustoszenie na Ziemi. W walce pomiędzy starymi i nowymi bogami, to ludzie zdecydują o losie świata. Zadaniem gracza jest podróż przez starożytny świat i odkrycie sposobów na ponowne uwięzienie mitycznych Tytanów.
Dzięki Titan Quest gracze mają okazję odwiedzić osławione miejsca, takie jak Partenon, labirynt w Knossos, Piramidy czy Wiszące Ogrody Semiramidy. Twórcy przygotowali ogromny arsenał broni, składający się z ponad 1,000 unikalnych i legendarnych przedmiotów. Postać gracza może doskonalić swoje umiejętności i zdolności dzięki elastycznemu systemowi klas, który daje praktycznie nieskończone możliwości rozwoju. Grę stworzono w bardzo szczegółowej, niemal fotorealistycznej oprawie graficznej.
Oprócz rozgrywki jednoosobowej Titan Quest oferuje także tryb multiplayer.

Das Action-Rollenspiel ist das Debüt-Projekt von Iron Lore Entertainment, der Firma von Age of Empires-Leaddesigner Brian Sullivan. Eine erste Präsentation hat uns schon mächtig beeindruckt: Die 3D-Engine beherrscht tolle Effekte. Wenn wir einen Feuerball Richtung Mumie schleudern, brutzelt die Binde weg und ein Skelett kommt zum Vorschein. Apropos Feuerball: In Titan Quest entscheiden Sie sich beim Levelaufstieg nicht nur für Skills, sondern auch, wie Sie diese ausbauen. So können Sie beim Feuerball den Schadensradius erhöhen, die Wirkungsdauer verlängern oder künftig mehrere Projektile verschießen. Deshalb soll im Multiplayer-Modus kein Charakter dem anderen gleichen. Auch das Szenario ist spannend: Ähnlich wie Age of Mythology spielt Titan Quest in einer antiken Sagenwelt. Sie erforschen das Parthenon, die Pyramiden, die hängenden Garten von Babylon oder den Irrgarten von Knossos.
