Yakkasaray (also spelled Yakkasaroy) is one of 11 districts (tuman) of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
Overview
It is one of the most central district of the city and the smallest per area. It was established in 1981 with the name of Frunze,[2] referring to the Kyrgyz Bolshevik leader Mikhail Frunze.
Yakkasaray borders with the districts of Chilanzar, Shaykhontohur, Yunusabad, Mirobod and Sergeli.
